Timeline: Arrival.

ON

The gentle touch on the Yoke; each impulse would be answered while his other jand had the thrust under light control. The Flight Control had given him his landing instructions; no need to give any flair, just a routine approach and landing. WHile Greased Lightning could do some really fun things LeMat would keep to a good First Impression, he was going to be here a while. Moving with thrusters he brought his Racing Scout into the Forth Deck and with the softes of touch he landed the vessel without even scratching the decking.

Over head panel had the sequence to shut things down, he was putting his Baby to sleep for now; he would arrange the maintinace in a bit after settling into things on the Station. With a comforting breath he spun the chair and exited the ship. Nice recycled air; a welcome thing after a bit of time in the Pilot's seat; no as good as fresh air but enough of a change, he will get used to it; the scents of the fuel, lubricants and other aspects swirling to be the uniques smells of this Hangar area.

Things had to be done in proper order; he wore his black trench coat over his gun rigs; favoring the shoulder under the left arm and a long barrel with a variation on an older model under his right arm. The loose button up shirt was light blue and still clean from laundry in contrast to the dark pants and flight boots. He opted not to have a hat as he made his way to the Dock Master's Office.

Rapping lightly on the Door Frame LeMat had his usually friendly expression as he stood in the doorway , hands in plain sight as a polite gestgure.

"I hope I am not interrupting anything?" He began offering a hand shake. "I am LeMat, and I just arrived with hopes of getting a steady Birth for my Scout?"

Moira, a rather short, but attractive woman, that looked every bit like a typical 30 something parent, looked up from the monitor built into the reception desk. She saw the rather dashing looking older gentleman walk in. She stood to take his outstretched hand. "Welcome to Green Leaf Skyplex Mister LeMat. We have berths available for short and long term lease. If I could have your vessels registry documents, I would be happy to start setting you up on whatever terms work best for you. Do you plan on staying with us long?"

Taking the file wrapped in Leather with all his current documents , permits and ownership papers he handed them over." I was thinking a Birth for Three Months to see if I acclimate to being in one place that long?" He smiled. "Preferably one that allows me to do maintinance and some work on my ship? He gave a sly grin. "You know men and their hobbies, that little Scout is my passion at the moment."

Moira looked down at her terminal. "Actually judging by your ship's tonnage or lack thereof, we can likely get you into a slip near the engine shops. Those spaces are mainly used for quick docking for parts, they are a little snag for most freighters, but your Scout would have more than enough room. I would have to clear that with the Dockmaster to use that zone though."

"If you could do that I would be quite greatful." A genuine smile crossing his face. "With luck like this I might even stay longer." He chuckled.

Moira gave him a pleasant smile. "I will let the Dockmaster know and if she approves the zoning use, I will let you know. The bay you landed in should be fine for the next day or two while we get the logistics straightened out. If you leave me your cortex address I will send you a wave as soon as I know anything."

"You have been most kind." LeMat took his documents and gave her the information she needed. "Do I take care of Security deposits now or when we make contract for permonat parking?"

Moira smiled. "We can worry about that when Administrator Wilson gives her ok. Until then you will have standard docking privileges. As long as your docking bill is paid when you file for departure clearance everything will be fine. Can I point out you toward anything in particular on the station? It can seem a confusing the first time here."

"I have an appointment with a man for an Office." LeMat gave her a smile. "Which level would I be going?"

"Are you looking for the retail level or something of a professional office like deck three." Moira inquired. "Oksanna Petrovich is the representative for the Merchant's association. They handle most leases, unless you found someone trying to sublet a space. Be careful lots of scams for that on the station. Some folks like to make a quick buck at newcomer's expense."

"I did make inqueries ahead." LeMat said. "deck three in the professional areas is where I was told to come and choose a space to my liking." He gave her a grand grin. "It has been quite the pleasure and I look forward to your message on where I can house my Baby?"

"I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from the Administrator. I hope your new office works out well for you. I look forward to seeing it when you are settled." Moira waved as LeMat left.

It was time to get a place to rest his head.
